Finding Hope
How do we help young people and their families find hope here?
Youthdale provides compassionate care for those who need it most.
Youthdale is a leading Toronto-based non-profit and charitable community agency dedicated to serving children, youth, young adults and families struggling with complex mental health needs. We serve children, youth, emerging adults and families from diverse backgrounds and communities across Ontario, with most of our clients coming from the Greater Toronto Area.
Our organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and funded by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Children, Community and Youth Services and the Ontario Health – Toronto Region.
We are very proud to be Accredited with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada
Youthdale helps 3,500 children and their families with mental health issues each year.
At Youthdale, we believe that all young people, regardless of developmental, social and/or psychological needs, are resilient and possess unique strengths. You and your family may face complex challenges, but you also each bring strengths and the capacity for growth and change. Our goal is to help you build on your strengths to improve your mental health and gain the confidence you need to achieve your goals.
We respect and welcome all children, youth, young adults and families, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, social class, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin, political beliefs or financial circumstances.
Wherever possible, we adapt our treatment environment to support a young person’s religion, heritage and cultural identity, and accommodate families’ specific language, cultural and communication needs.
