Crisis Support Team

Youthdale’s Crisis Support Team (CST) offers mental health crisis and service navigation support on behalf of children and young people (ages 10–24) in the City of Toronto.

We help young people and families who are navigating a mental health crisis to unpack and address the factors that are driving that immediate crisis. No matter the size of the problem, Youthdale’s trained and knowledgeable staff are here to listen and help. Let’s develop an action plan and move from crisis to confidence.

When you call CST, we’ll learn more about you, assess what’s contributing to the crisis that’s entered your life, and make recommendations that may include further services through Youthdale, other services in the community, or practical skills/strategies that will help you directly address the problem(s) contributing to the crisis.

Connect with CST through our Crisis Line: 416-363-9990

Monday–Friday: 8 am – 8pm
Weekends: 10 am – 6 pm
Statutory Holidays: 9 am – 5 pm

Sometimes, it might take more than phone support to learn more about what’s contributing to someone’s crisis; and equip them with the skills, strategies, and services to get them back on the path to wellness.

In these situations, CST offers follow-up services, including mobile crisis support and brief counselling services. When you call the Crisis Line, if you meet the criteria for these supports, one of our crisis workers may recommend up to 3 session of evidence-informed therapy or other professional services.
