Help us celebrate a few of our newest Doctors to the Youthdale Treatment Centres team, Drs. D’Souza, Aoun, and Messih, who joined us in recent months.

Dr. Finola D’Souza

We are very excited to welcome Dr. Finola D’Souza to Youthdale. Dr. D’Souza has extensive experience and passion for working with youth through a trauma-informed approach. She also works at Trillium Health Partners in their Transitional Age Youth Program and Early Psychosis Intervention Program. We look forward to working together in helping youth address their mental health needs and achieve their goals to success!

Dr. John Aoun

We are thrilled to have Dr. John Aoun join our dedicated team of psychiatrists at Youthdale. Dr. Aoun has spent the last five years working with youth in secure treatment and detention programs, first as a resident and then as a staff psychiatrist. Dr. Aoun has an incredible ability to connect well with youth and support them in achieving their objectives.

Dr. Mark Messih

Dr. Mark Messih completed his undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Genetics and Health Studies and Master of Science in Medical Science through the University of Toronto Institute of Medical. He attended St. George’s University School of Medicine, completed General Adult Psychiatry Residency at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Centre in Rochester, NY. Dr. Messih has focused his research primarily in qualitative methods learning from the lived experiences of others and distilling recommendations from those experiences to inform policy.
